Cabo has become a popular vacation spot over the past couple of decades. Some people come to see who is there and troll the restaurants, bars and beaches looking for famous individuals. Visit Todos Santos: Todos Santos is a small pueblo some 48 miles from Cabo San Lucas. It is home to the infamous-in-song, Canadian owned Hotel California. Around this centrally located hotel, you can find several artsy-type shops and galleries. Here you can purchase locally made crafts and paintings. You should also visit the Centro Cultural currently located in a former schoolhouse. Here you can view murals dating from around 1933 expressing various revolutionary and nationalist sentiments. The art gallery/museum is also home to some regional artifacts including old photos and objects.
Cabo Excursions
If plan on visiting Cabo, be aware that the town is more than sea, spas and parties. It is a place that has a rich history. Moreover, if the nightlife and noisy crowds are too much to bear arrange to head out to the desert. You can visit the towns of Todos Santos.
