When a pregnant woman makes the decision to use the adoption process for her unborn child, it’s often said she gives up her baby. The media, from talk shows, magazine articles to the average person discussing the issue, talks about how difficult it must be for a mother to give up her child. But when you stop and think about the issue as a whole, it’s not really the case.

The birth parents are able to scroll through profiles, look at pictures and help decide who will be lucky enough to parent their child.
Today’s birth mothers are able to see the wonderful life their baby is able to have because of their own selfless act, through letters, pictures and sometimes even visits. By choosing life and a life filled with a family who can provide all the tangibles she cannot, she is not giving up her baby, but truly giving her baby a life beyond compare.
